We are seeking a passionate and skilled Graphic Design Faculty member to join our educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or diploma-level courses in graphic design, fostering creativity, and guiding students through various design principles and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design work.
Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, assignments, and projects on graphic design topics such as typography, branding, illustration, and digital design.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and software in graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Guide students through practical applications of design software and techniques.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluation of students' projects and assignments.
- Mentor students on building portfolios and preparing for careers in design.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve the design curriculum.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
